Loft Insulation

Up to a quarter of heat is lost through the roof in an uninsulated home. Adding insulation to the roof of the home can be an easy project to dramatically decrease your heating bills and can be effective for up to 40 years.

Loft insulation is ideal if there is loft access and is generally a very straight-forward installation – if sometimes a little dusty! Most loft insulation is laid flat between the joists and 30 cms are the minimum desirable height. It is still possible to use your loft for storage by installing raised loft boards using special feet that are widely available.
