Eco is an obligation placed on the big energy suppliers It requires them to fund additional energy saving projects which cannot be funded alone by Green deal. Eco is aimed at low income and vulnerable the poorer and rural communities and properties with solid walls and hard to treat cavity walls. It also subsidizes energy efficiency measures that do not meet the Golden Rule.

How Eco(Energy Company Obligation) can help you?

You may be eligible to get subsidy on cost of loft insulation, cavity wall insulation, boilers, solid wall insulation to cut down on energy bills.If you are living in a low income household that is hard to treat you may be elegible to get help from any energy supplier, whether or not they supply energy to you.It integrates with Green Deal allowing energy supplier subsidy to come together with Green Deal into one seamless offer to householders. Following are the main three obligations:

  • HHCRO (Home Heating Cost Reduction Obligation)
  • CSCO (Carbon Saving Communities Obligation)
  • CERO (Carbon Emissions Reduction Obligation)

Is there any difference between Green Deal & ECO?

Measures Installed under Green Deal are paid by householders from the savings of their energy bills whereas measures installed under eco are highly subsidised by Energy Companies.


Free replacement for old boilers is available under ECO (Energy Company Obligation) scheme. It offers free survey and if the boiler is approximate more than 8 years old. It offers free replacement with A-rated condensing boilers. In non mains, the replacement is allowed for LPG/Oil boilers. It is an initiative by affordable warmth to lower down energy bills cost of lower income households.

We offer cavity wall extraction process that includes removal of previous improper installation instances from wall cavities. Improper instances occur due to unexpected circumstances or selection of wrong property type.
